Bulgarian Digital Week 2019 – an overview.
During the Plovdiv Fair at the end of September, Bulgarian Digital Week 2019 took place. The event continued for an entire week offering a great variety of topics. It included 13 digital conferences, with more than 250 speakers. As well as, thousands of participants, many business contacts, and opportunities. To capture the vibe, we filmed a short video report from the event. In it, you can see interviews with attendees, as well as footage from the event. The video also hints on what to expect next year. A larger international event – European Digital Week 2020! You can watch the video below.
What happened at Bulgarian Digital Week 2019?
Over the week between September 23rd and September 28th, there were 13 conferences. Each day, event attendees had the opportunity to choose from two different conferences. And on the first day (23 Sept.), there were even three conferences. Some of the topics were about Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Startups. As well as, Video, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Smart Solutions, Innovations, and many more.
We also had the chance to meet dozens of companies having booths in the Expo area. Listen to over 250 speakers, who are and experts in different Digital fields. As well as, meeting thousands of people. Among them were business owners, IT professionals, media representatives, marketing specialists, and others. So the event offered great value to its visitors. As a result, people got the best out of it.
What are the impressions of the event?
In general, the visitors I spoke with were pleased with the contacts they made. “I finished my business cards” was a sentence you could often hear on the last day. Certainly, this shows the value of the event. Providing an opportunity for quality business contacts.

In addition to its quality talks and networking, the event also had a variety of exhibiting companies. Operating in fields like digital marketing, eCommerce, software development. As well as, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, smart solutions, and others. So there was something for everyone at the event.
My participation in the event!
On the last day of the conference (September, 28th), I also had a talk. During my presentation, I explained how to create video content quickly and easily. Based on my experience, I have outlined some primary phases of the process. Such as choosing a topic, setting equipment, filming. After that editing, writing an article and descriptions, publishing, and promoting. I also gave tips on how we can optimize each one of those phases. In order to be as efficient and productive as possible. And I managed to film my entire talk. So, you can expect the video soon! 😉
What to expect in 2020?
One of the main organizers, Lyubomir Atanasov, shared a little more on what to expect. Next year, the European Digital Week 2020 will take place at the same venue! An event that will bring together people from all over Europe and will be a lot bigger. He said that right after the end of the event this year, they will start preparing the next one.
